Reolink problem
I've got 3 working Reolink cameras and I've just added a 4th. They are all RLC-510A. However I cannot see the 4th in Security Spy but all the settings look identical. I can see it both in the Reolink IOS app and the Mac app. Any ideas please.

Ben, I've just remembered you gave me a fix for this previously when I added a Reolink. I seem to remember that Reolink had changed the default settings, something to do with RTSP

Now fixed it thanks by enabling RTSP on the camera

Great to hear you found the fix. Yes, for some inexplicable reason, Reolink cameras ship with the RTSP/ONVIF options disabled, so these must be manually enabled in order to use the camera with an NVR such as SecuritySpy.

I have resurrected this thread because I have a further problem with Reolink cameras. At one particular installation I have 4 Reolink cameras. 2 days ago 2 of these cameras stopped working in Security Spy. I get the error "Connection closed". However I can see them quite happily in the Reolink app on my phone or if I go to their web address on the Mac. The 2 cameras in question are older versions than the other 2 which seem to be V2 of the same unit. (RLC-510A). I have checked that RTSP & Onvif are still enabled.
It's really curious because both units went off line at the same time in the middle of the night Saturday. Any thoughts, other than replacing the 2 older units ?

Update to the above. I brought one of the cameras to my home network and it worked there with Security Spy. When I returned it to its original location it started working again. Turned out all I needed to do was power cycle it and when I did the same with the other it also worked. It was quite difficult to get access to where it was powered from which is why I didn't try that at first. Still very curious though because it was working via the Reolink app but just not Security Spy.

I'm a glutton for punishment and I have NINE Reolink cameras, including a doorbell. I love them.
One is attached via a Mesh node to the garage and every so often needs a power cycle. 🤷♂️ It's plugged into a smart plug so I can power recycle it from my iPhone from wherever I am.
