    I also have budget approval for the M2 Max/Studio. Feels like too much, but after bumping the M2 Pro Mini up to 32GB RAM and adding in the 10GBE NIC it's almost the same as the Studio.

    Yes, that is the same math comparison here between the two. Basically a bit more gets you double the CPU and GPU plus a bump up in SSD size. Neither are a bargain, but I'm pleased with how the Studio is behaving. I'm on it typing now.

    Can confirm my new M2 Studio with 32GB RAM is a beast. Running 30 cameras with all detections on and can still use the machine heavily for other tasks like email, browsing, notes, etc without a single lost frame or blip. Smooth as butter.

    Congratulations. Echoed here, It's a tough $$$ pill to swallow, but the Studio solved performance issues without needing to shortchanging what SS is able to achieve.
