Using iPhone as a camera

Is there any easy way to use an iPhone as a Security Spy camera. I have tried a couple of applications that purport to turn the phone into an ip camera but had little luck.

    thank you, but I couldn’t actually find the first app and couldn’t get the second app to work. I think I’ve been here before with these apps.

    Sorry, our blog post is a little outdated. I'm not sure what the best apps these days are for this purpose, but any one that can send an RTSP stream should work.

    Even with a good app, an iPhone isn't great for this purpose - much better to use a proper IP camera.

    I quite agree about a proper ip camera. However, it comes back to the old saying "the best camera is always the one that you actually have with you" i.e. your phone. If you want to set up a quick and easy camera for some motion detect situation e.g. to do with a pet in some arbitrary location that you don't have a network cable going to. I believe that NDI is now supported in some way, perhaps that is what I could use.

    Add my vote for a new app for our old iPhones, better to repurpose the old one than just let it sit...
