Setting software up

Hi,

I am trying to move away from IVMS4200 and was recommended this software so would really like to try it out before spending the money.

My setup is virgin router in modem mode connected to a linksys velop mesh network. My hikvision cameras NVR is connected a velop node and can be accessed by an IP lets calls it (45.1.16.0). When i try and add a camera I am unable to find the cameras.

Is there any guides or anyone able to assist on getting my cameras setup so I can trial this software.

To add cameras from a Hikvision NVR to SecuritySpy:

• Under Settings > Cameras, click the plus (+) button and create a new network device
• As the Address, enter the NVR's IP address
• Enter the NVR's username and password
• For the Profile, choose "Hikvision"
• To add additional cameras, repeat the above, but with a different "Input/stream number" setting.

If you have any problems, it's best if we help you directly rather than via this forum, so this case please email us, and include a debug file from SecuritySpy (which you can create using the menu option at SecuritySpy > Debug > Create Debug File On Desktop). We will then help you directly to set everything up.
