Dahua HFW-4300S reliability issues.
I recently purchased this camera from Amazon. I've solved the "fixed IP address" issue, and can connect and preview video from the camera in Security Spy, however it won't stay connected for long - it varies from a minute or two to maybe 10 minutes. Security Spy will then reconnect after about a 30 second delay. And then it drops again (the preview video freezes). At the same time, the browser-based video feed is still working, though there's quite a delay from real-time (around 8 - 10 seconds).
So it feels like I've perhaps got something misconfigured in Security Spy for this camera. Has anyone gotten this camera to work w/ Security Spy? Would you be willing to share your settings?
Cheers.

I just set up the HFW-3200S successfully today.
Device 192.168.0.112
Device Type Dahua Technology
Address: 192.168.0.112

I used the Network Device Finder utility to discover the device and my D-Link router to assign a static IP address. I had trouble locating the device until I used the Finder, then it was smooth sailing.
I have two Zavio cameras on my system - initial set up was much easier.
Hope this helps.

I'd be interested in knowing how you used the Device Finder to locate an IP address 192.168.0, since my Finder only locates 192.168.1 addresses.
Thanks
