Is there a how-to on how to write a script for email and text notifications?

I would like to receive emails and/or text messages when a motion has occurred during a certain time frame. Say midnight to 6am from a certain camera. I have no idea how to go about that. Is there some helpful links someone could provide? Thanks.

    Hi triggs,

    This is quite simple and you don't need a script - here's how to do this:

    Create a new schedule for arming between midnight and 6am each day (i.e. you should draw red time objects from 0 to 6 for each day of the schedule).

    Then, simply right-click on the camera in any video window in SecuritySpy or in the Camera Info window, and from the menu that pops up, select your new schedule for the Actions mode.

    Then, all Actions (including emails and text messages) will only be active during the times specified in the schedule.
