Kuna System
Can the software receive any camera with an IP address or are there situations that don't work? I'm looking at this setup: https://www.getkuna.com/smart-security-light/. There are 3 big reasons why and that is power. I have 3 outdoor lights that need replacing anyway and this would be an easy hardware install but it uses a native apps for alerts and speech. The goal would be to continue using the native apps but archive in SecuritySpy instead of their service.

SecuritySpy supports all standard protocols for IP surveillance (MJPEG over HTTP and H.264 over RTSP being the main two). The IP camera in question would have to support one of these protocols in order to be usable with third-party applications such as SecuritySpy. Most do, but some manufacturers specifically limit their devices so that they can only be used with their own software products (which often require a subscription).
This seems to be the case here. From Kuna's web site, they seem to offer recording capabilities for a paid subscription with their own system, with no indication that the device can stream to third-party software. They do state that "We have plans to integrate Kuna with other home automation products and open our own API", which is hopeful for the future, but further indicates that their API is currently closed.
I think you'll be better off purchasing a normal outdoor light plus an IP camera that's already on our list of supported cameras.
