Version 4 like browser window to default to today's date

How about defaulting the date to today?

    We considered this, but then it would also have to default to certain cameras, neither of which may be what the user actually wanted to do. And since a scan can take significant time, we decided against making any default selections. We may reconsider this if we get more users asking for it.
