Wireless Camera iPhone App Server - UserName?
I've set up the GMBH Wireless Camera app on my iPhone 4 and it's working well with SS4. However, I want to password protect it and I can't figure out what the app username is. I've tried using the name of the phone, 'Wireless Camera' and 'Livestream' but none of these is the correct server user name.
Any attempt with the above user names and the password set in Wireless Camera results in loss of video in SS4.
Not much in the way of instructions for this app!

I guess nobody knows the answer to this - shame. I'll stop using Wireless Camera as I don't want it to be unprotected with a password.

Ben, this app is one of those listed in the SecuritySpy FAQ regarding Android apps. I appreciate that you have nothing to do with this app, but I've failed to find an answer to my question above either from the forum here or the publisher of the app. Therefore, I'm unable to run the Wireless Camera iPhone app with password protection and so I choose not to run it at all. You might like to consider removing any mention of this app from the SecuritySpy section of the website. OK, it doesn't cost much, but it's wasted money as far as I'm concerned.
Thanks for all your work with continued development of SecuritySpy, I've just taken advantage of your 50% upgrade deal having run V4 for about 3 weeks now. -
Sorry for the delay, I've just had a look at this. The app seems to handle authentication in a rather unusual way. I've managed to work it out, and implement it in the latest beta version of SecuritySpy (currently 4.0.3b6). All you have to do is enter the password with no username.
Please confirm it works. -
Hey, thanks for that Ben, I'll give it a go and get back to you.

Ben, excellent work! Wireless Camera iPhone app now working correctly with the latest SecuritySpy beta with the app camera password protected - no app server 'username' required. Thanks Ben.

Great to hear that, thanks for reporting back.
