Another CPU usage question

In the Camera Info window, turn on the Pixel Count, Frame Rate, and Data Rate columns - do you see any differences with this camera compared with the others?

Nothing that explains the high CPU load. Everything looks the same or less then some of the other cameras

In that case, the only thing I can think of is hardware video decompression of the incoming video feed, or hardware video encoding for recording to files (if enabled). If your Mac has hardware video processing capabilities, it will only be able to process a certain number of streams simultaneously; subsequent streams will be processed in software, which uses more CPU.
Do you think this might explain it? Disabling one of the other cameras temporarily would be a good experiment - if, after doing this, the CPU usage for the camera in question drops in line with the others, this is a good indication that you may be hitting the limits of the hardware video processing capabilities.
Annoyingly, Apple does not release information about the number of streams that its hardware can process simultaneously. -
You had the issue correct. It is being processed in software
