Hi Dave,
Two good options are the Dahua Technology DH-IPC-K200W or the Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW:

Hope this helps. -
After looking around at what I can get in the UK I eventually tried a ucam247 indoor HD 1080p camera. Spookily the web based setup shares some very very (identical) pages to the y-cam so I suspect they have a common parentage in the firmware at some point. The camera provides a indential display, the only difference I notice is that there is a difference in the infrared illumination at night. The y-cam was a more even flood light with there not being any noticable change in illumination whereas the ucam247 has more lights and is more like a car headlight with the image being brighter in the centre. Having said that it's still possible to see the entire room most clearly and given the price which is significantly cheaper than even the newer homemonitor y-cams it seems very very good value. I will leave it running for stability testing and providing it keeps running I think I will eventually replace some of my older cameras as well.

Hi Dave, sounds good, thanks for the feedback I'm sure this will be very useful for other users!

This camera does have audio - two way I think. I can hear the audio from the iPhone Remote Patrol app but can it be heard on a web browser - it does not seem work when viewed from the SecuritySpy web page, but does when it's viewed from the camera's built in viewer web page.

Hi Dave, if you want video and audio in a web browser, you'll have to use Safari and use the "HTTP Live Streaming" viewing method (selectable on the main page of SecuitySpy's web interface). Otherwise, you can use another copy of SecuritySpy (free for the purposes of viewing only) in order to receive and play the live video and audio.
