Timeout Error and Authentication error
I hope someone can help me, I emailed support and haven't gotten a reply yet.
I have my cameras setup correctly and they worked for months on V 3.4.8. However something recently caused my cameras to disconnect and reconnect at their own will. A camera will be working and then suddenly has a "Timeout Error" and some cameras will have "Authentication error". Then sometimes they'll randomly work. I have static IPs set on all cameras. Has anyone seen this problem before? I'm running on a MacPro new cylinder model. Also videos are always choppy. ;(

Sounds like ethernet wiring or network switch issue. Since it is multiple cameras giving trouble, it is likely your POE switch or somewhere along connection from that switch to your computer.
If your POE switch is more than a couple years old, its power supply or internal components may be failing. You can sometimes see that as an increasing packet loss rate in your switch's statistics.
If you have an equivalent supply available, I'd try swapping out the power supply for your POE switch to help rule that out. -
Thanks for the reply, that was one of my guess and I replaced it with a new one and still experience the same problems.
