  • SecuritySpy uses the network of course, but it won't be responsible for your Wifi network failing. You'll need to look at normal WiFi issues such as distance to the router and interference from other networks.

The first thing to try is to reboot the router - when it comes back online it should scan for other networks in the area, and choose a channel with the least interference.

Are you able to connect your Mac to your router using wired ethernet instead of WiFi? This will give you much better performance and reliability.
  • Of course SecuritySpy is not responsible for my wifi network failing.

In fact there is no failing (as far as i know) , my macbook only disconnect
    after a while (30 mn or 1 hour).I don't know why ...

What do i have to do to make it not disconnect ? to keep the wifi connexion for
    hours and days long ?

    thanks

  • Have a look at the Energy Saver system preference, there may be some settings here to adjust to keep your Mac online. At the very least you will need to set your Mac to not sleep (when connected to the power adaptor of course).
