upgrade to 3.4.9- no E-MAIL of jpegs

I did the upgrade yesterday and since then I haven't received any alert emails for motion on any of my cameras. The browser shows the alerts and they are stored on my drive… But I get no email notification.

I changed absolutely nothing when I upgraded.

Your thoughts would be most welcome.

    I jumped back to 3.4.7 and immediately I started receiving email notifications again.

    Again, without changing any settings.

    Hi Jay,

    Sorry about this, it's a bug. This has now been fixed in the new SecuritySpy update released today. Please confirm.

    It does not appear to be fixed for me in 3.4.10
    The test emails work, but it does not send email on motion.
    (same problem that started with 3.4.9)

    The "Motion Capture" parts of getting images and video are working correctly, but the Action to email on motion is not (I'm not using any other actions to confirm if they work or not)

    Hi Ben,

    Just to add that I'm also having this issue. Was running 3.4.7 with notifications working fine, but noted that my new Dahua camera audio was not functioning so upgraded to 3.4.10 which resolved the audio issue but notifications stopped working. reverting back to 3.4.7 has got notifications working again.

    If you need me to test anything, more than happy to.

    Hi @BrianM and @ryan - could you please look at your Log file (located in the SecuritySpy folder in your Documents folder) and let me know if there are any entries for email sending related to 3.4.10?

    @jay - could you please try 3.4.10 and let me know if this works for you or not?

    I came her because I had 3.4.9 and email notifications had stopped working. Found this thread, discovered there was a 3.4.10. Installed it and so far email notifications have started working again.

    Hi All, we can't find any bugs related to email sending in 3.4.10. If you are not getting emails and not getting any errors in the log, then it's probably an issue with settings or spam filters. Check that emails should be sent (that the camera is set to detect motion, that the email notification feature is enabled and that the camera is in Active mode) and check the spam folder of the receiving email account. Thanks.

    Hi Ben, Sorry for the late reply. No errors in the logs, and wasn't going into spam folders (already checked that and the other things you highlighted) will give the upgrade another shot and see how it goes.

    No jpegs to email for me either. Email tests are fine and so are errors communicating with cameras. Fresh clean install and set up of OS 10.10.5 and SS 3.4.10 on a new to me Mac Pro

    Going back to SS 3.4.8 and deleting the prefs has jpegs to email on motion working again.
