.unf means it's an unfinished movie file. Either the file is currently being captured to, in which case SecuritySpy will change it to a .mov or a .m4v when finished, or there was some error that prevented SecuritySpy from successfully finishing the file. Check the Log file for clues - you'll find the Log file in the SecuritySpy folder within your Documents folder. If you are still having problems, please email us the log file and we'll take a look.

this was related to my other question about fail over. the disk & path was available but hitting quota limits.
