SS leaving multiple empty folders in capture destination after deleting files in the browser
As per subject. Just noticed this. After deleting my movies in the browser Security Spy is leaving the folders intact. I have three cameras and dozens of empty folders for all the captured files going back to early dec 2015 ? What's going on

Hi Peter - empty folders will be automatically deleted if you are using SecuritySpy's features to delete old files (either of the first two "Auto-remove" options in the Preferences window). How frequently this will occur depends on how often SecuritySpy has to delete files to satisfy the auto-deletion criteria (which depends on a few factors). But as long as you are using these options, the empty folders will be deleted - eventually.

HMM I'm not using any of the two auto remove options, I don't like that feature. will it do any harm to manually remove all these empty folders

It won't do any harm for you to remove the empty folders manually, if you don't want to use the auto-delete options.
