SecuritySPY APP / Cameras on diffrent Network
Hi There,
I need some help.
In my setup I currently have 4 cameras on a network all in 192.168.1.0 Range. All 4 Cameras show up in the security spy camera status and also in the Iphone App and Security Spy Web App.
Now I want to add additional cameras, however due to the network configuration at my site, these cameras are to be on a seperate range 192.168.0.0.
Now I can add the additional camera to SecuritySpy and can see it fine in the camera status list, however I can only still see the original 4 cameras in the Web App and the Iphone App.
Can somebody please advise how to get around this issue. Before I purchase more camera licences I want to see it working in demo mode.
Regards
M

Hi M, do you actually see the video from these additional cameras in the SecuritySpy video windows (i.e. are the cameras actually connected and working in SecuritySpy)?
If so, then there should be no problem viewing them via SecuritySpy's web interface, from all networks that the Mac is connected to. If you can't see these cameras in the web interface or iPhone app, then my guess is that it's a web server account permissions problem. Go to the Web Server Settings window -> Account Settings, and make sure that for the "All cameras" option, the particular web account you are using has full permissions.
