  • I'm unhappy that I can't use my browsers of choice (Firefox/Chrome) on my mac (I never use Safari.) In the meantime I managed to fenagle the installation of the god-awful ActiveX plugins on my work computer so I can view/control in Exploder and Firefox/Windows.... with some chance I could end up in hot water for it...
The cameras you mentioned are $150-180 range.... not sure I need them badly enough to justify that price. There's one on Amazon that gets decent reviews at the $60 point-- do any of the built-in profiles work with the Deecam D200? Thx.
  • The Deecam D200 hasn't been tested and confirmed to work in SecuritySpy, however from the information I was able to find out, it seems likely to work. Here is how you would set it up in SecuritySpy:

    Device type: Manual
    Ports: leave boxes blank
    Format: H.264 RTSP
    Request: 11

If you do go for this camera, please let us know how you get on.
  • Will do, thanks.
  • I've been futzing with this camera for a few days now but no luck with these settings. Would appreciate any other suggestions for settings to try.

<<For mat: H.264 RTSP >> Not one of the choices while set to "Manual."
  • Allright not sure what I was doing wrong but it shows up now.
  • I am ready to give up on the Deecam. No problem with Security Spy but I get a black image when trying to view in browsers, even on Explorer and Firefox for Windows with plugins installed. Seemingly randomly it does give an image in Safari on my 2011 Macbook Air running 10.9.5, even though there's no image in any browser on my 2012 Mini running 10.9.5. Done banging my head on the wall.
