Browser was showing DEMO and now is not working
I just migrated one of my SS systems to a new Mac-Mini. I unregistered it from the 'old' server and registered it on the new one. It is working fine on the server but when I used the previous DDNS, it logged on but had a white box with DEMO on it across each of the windows. That does not show when I look at SS on the server, it looks correct.
I tested the DDNS on and got the green light. I tried using the browser again and this time it would not even load. Got server not found.
Any ideas?
Doug

I am still unable to use Safari Browser to view cameras etc. The SS Webserver still has a green light but I cannot reach it via internet. We leave in a few days and it will be the only way I have to monitor the cameras.
Thanks,

Hi Doug,
What is the exact error shown in Safari? If the error is "server not found" or "could not resolve host", then this could be a problem with the DDNS address. If the error is "could not connect to server" or "the server isn't responding", then it's probably a problem with your port forwarding settings.
When you changed the Mac running SecuritySpy, perhaps its IP address changed, in which case you'll need to update the port forwarding settings in the router. Check that the Mac has a static IP address on your local network, and that your port forwarding settings are correct, as per our Remote Monitoring guide.
If you're still having problems, please email us and let us know your DDNS name, and what external (internet) port you are using for your SecuritySpy server, and we'll investigate further. -
Got it! Thanks!
Doug
