i am trying to get an external SRICAM to work but cant seem to find a working combination of settings, any suggestions?

    Could you please tell us the exact model of the camera? Does it support ONVIF? If so, have you tried it with the ONVIF profile in SecuritySpy? If it doesn't support ONVIF, we can suggest some other settings to try.

    I also have one SRICAM at our beach house. Here is a link to the page that I believe is the camera. It is located in a spot that I cannot get to easily and the installer is out of town so I cannot call to find out what he put in. I get the camera feed on and iPhone ap but I cannot get it on SS. I have 9 other ONVIFs on the system that work fine but they are a different make.

    Here is the link. http://www.sricctv.com/en/products/Electronics/Pan_tilt_IP_Cam_AP006.html This one shows wireless but ours is connect via ethernet I believe, so maybe they had a different model or it can we connected either way.

    Hi - please try the "Foscam JPEG" device type in SecuritySpy. Does this work for your camera?

    It did not work. I ran the network utility and it does not find this camera. I am currently able to view it using iPhone app called AP Camera. I can also view it on Parallels Windows 8 using iSPY (with great difficulty). AP Camera identifies it with a "Camera ID" not by ip address. The camera is connected via ethernet to my network. I have not been able to track down the installer. I would rather replace the camera with one on your list but need to get him to credit me back the camera he sold and installed. If I could get it working on Security Spy, I could live with it as it seems ok on the iPhone ap but I cannot record so it is somewhat useless unless I want to stay glued to the phone 7/24. I hate off-brand stuff!

    Firstly you'll need to locate the camera's IP address, and then set it to a static IP on your network. Please follow our instructions on how to set up network cameras, including using our Network Device Finder app to locate the camera on your network.

    Once you have the camera's IP address, are you able to connect to it using a web browser such as Safari?

    If so, then try this again in SecuritySpy using the IP address set for the camera, and the Foscam JPEG device type. If this doesn't work, please tell me what error you see in the SecuritySpy video window for the camera.
