DS-2CD2432F-IW PIR sensor

Hi,
I'm trying to see if I can use the PIR sensor built into my Hikvision DS-2CD2432F-IW. The camera is set up and working fine, but the camera input port 1 & 2 are greyed out. Have I set something up incorrectly or is this camera not fully supported?

    Sorry to comment on my own post but to save another thread - is there a trick to getting audio to work on these cams? I have another different make camera's audio working fine so I think that my basics are right, but for the life of me I cannot get it to made a squeak from this one...

    Hi - sorry but we currently don't support the PIR sensor in these cameras, but will investigate this for a future update of SecuritySpy.

    As for audio, I can't think of any particular reason why this wouldn't work. SecuritySpy requests audio from the camera by default, so unless you have turned this off (in the Audio section of the Camera Settings window), you should be getting audio coming through. Check the camera's settings (log on to it using a web browser), as this may be turned off by default in the camera itself. Also check any volume/gain setting in the camera's settings.

    New user here. I'm testing the software before buying it and wanted to know, since it's been a year from this post, if it's supporting the built-in PIR sensor now?

    I'm afraid this is not yet supported. I'll make this a priority and post back here when we have made some progress on this.
