Is there any way to have Security Spy notify growl if motion is detected? This way I can get a notification on my phone using Prowl.

    Yes, you can write a short AppleScript that will send a notification via Growl, they have instructions on their web site about how to do this. Then, save the AppleScript as an application and put it in the ~/Documents/SecuritySpy/Scripts/ folder. Then it will be available as an Action in SecuritySpy to trigger. If you need help writing the script then we can put something together for you.

    Alternatively, the latest version of SecuritySpy supports sending Apple push notifications to the Remote Patrol iOS app.
