Unable to setup HUNT camera on securityspy
Hi,
I’m trying to setup a HUNT HTP-T13MG28DID camera which is ONVIF supported on SecuritySpy for one of my customers but no luck to get it working.
I tried to use manual configuration as the camera is not listed on the device type list.
I entered IP address , user/pass and tried different port numbers (Including blank), tried different HTTP request commands...
According to manufacturer the RTSP command is "stream1", I also found another command in here http://www.soleratec.com/support/rtsp/rtsp_listing?camera_company=Hunt Electronics&camera_model=HTP-T13MG28DID
but none of them worked.
My customer is using version 2.2.3 , is there anything that a I’m missing?
I sent email to support twice, nobody replied!
Please help!

Hi rezanet,
We did reply to both your support email on the days the you sent them (15th and 21st May) - did you not receive our replies?
SecuritySpy version 2.2.3 does not support RTSP or ONVIF, so it won't work with this camera. You will need to use the latest version of SecuritySpy which is currently 3.3.
In SecuritySpy 3.3, try the ONVIF profile first (you'll find in the "Device type" list in the Video Device Settings window). In 99% of cases with unknown ONVIF cameras, this will work. If not, try this:
- In the Video Device Settings window, create a new network device.
- Set the device type to "Manual".
- Enter the camera's IP address but leave the Port field empty.
- Select "RTSP" from the Format menu.
- Enter "stream1" (without quotes) as the Request
If that doesn't work, try "video1+audio1" as the Request (again without the quotes).
Please report back and let us know how you get on. -
rezanet,
Did you get this camera work? I have a wirepath camera that has a vendor id of Hunt Electronic Co, Ltd. I can't seem to get SS to connect to with ONVIF, manual, etc. Suggestions?

When you had bought this cam, did you check it your device properly that it is working or not. May be the setup is ok but check, it might be problem in some connection.
