Unable to play Captured files due to lack of QuckTime plugin support in Chrome 64 bit

Hi Folks,

Just migrated to Chrome and found that Captured Files will not play due to lack of QuickTime plugin support.

Seems like there is a bigger issue here between Google and Apple. But what to do? Back to Safari?

    Hi Jonathan,

    Unfortunately Chrome recently removed support for many plugins, including the QuickTime plugin that is required to play QuickTime movie files. They are moving towards a plugin-free environment - the rationale is that plugins can cause performance and instability problems. This can be true, but it is not true for the QuickTime plugin, so it seems like a strange decision that will break support for a large number of web sites. This is unfortunate and we are looking into ways around this, but there is no easy solution. For now this means that you will need to use Safari or FireFox.
