Event Time Marking using new Homekit Secure Video

With Apple's new intelligence (I think this is the correct source) a secure video feed will analyze a video feed with AI and feed back to you what it learned. Well with 24/7 recording systems this can be great, cause getting that time marker on an event is half the battle. Knowing when to scrub all, some or one camera recording is easy and provides much more knowledge about what going on verses a notification of an event.

Can or will Security Spy be able to grab that AI time marker for such scrubbing. If you use homekit secure video, one camera gets the Apple intelligence AI anaylsis for free. So why not use it.

  • HomeKit Secure Video is Apple's camera storage and analysis solution that is specific to their own ecosystem and available via the Home app. Because it's a closed, Apple-only system that has limited interoperability, SecuritySpy does not interface with it. Instead, SecuritySpy does all of its own analysis on video feeds using its own neural networks. There are various ways you can search and play back footage in SecuritySpy (in-app, iOS, web) - the most comprehensive way is in the in-app Browser feature, where you can choose a camera and date, and see a list of all events that happened in that day. You can filter by what was detected (e.g. humans only). This allows you to quickly find the footage you are looking for.
