Testing "Golden Gate" with S.S.
Hey Ben
Installed Golden Gate on an external drive to test, let me know if you'd like an early bug report.

Sure, any testing feedback that you can provide will be very helpful. Thanks!

So far only one particular error I was seeing so far, was that on launch, 4 of my 6 cameras we showing "bad recompression data" something to that effect. On a whim, I thought to change the Cameras from H264 which I used for a long time with no issues, to H265. It worked, all back on line :-). I'll check other stuff when I get time.

did the same. I use security spy on one machine to view the SS cameras from another local dedicated machine (headless). Updated viewing machine to GG. cams from internet work fine, but the feed from of my local cameras say "bad image data" log snippet below. (had to change them all to JPEG HTTP to get them working again)
Error from camera Entryway, it will be closed. (Failed to decompress incoming video frame 22185,-12909 Image data decompression failed - bad data)

Thanks for the feedback. SecuritySpy uses Apple's "VideoToolbox" framework for video compression, and it looks like it's failing for these cameras. What is the make/model of these cameras? This has happened before in beta macOS versions, with Apple typically fixing this by release, so it's not necessarily a cause for too much concern at the moment, but it's certainly something that we will need to keep an eye on.

I run Security Spy on a "production" machine with Tahoe. I updated a second machine to Golden Gate and found that 3 of my cameras would not display on that machine. All cameras were set up similarly on the production machine and display correctly there. I tried deleting and re-adding all the cameras on the second machine but got the same result.
I just when tin and switched the problem cameras from H264/H265 to RTSP and that worked.

I have mostly Dahua cameras, one Hikvision and one old Sunba.
-
Mine are amcrest cams
-
On a similar vein - I loaded IOS 27 on my 15P Max, and noticed that I'm unable to live view my Amcrest cameras from within the SecuritySpy iOS app, but the multiplex view works fine.
SecuritySpy is still running on Sequioa.
