Axis 240Q server

Got a Axis 240Q server to connect our door lock/camera that we have a BNC out.
all I get in Security Spy is "Unrecognized request error..."
I have tried with an admin user, viewer and operator on the axis server all with same error on security spy

    This indicates that you are using the wrong "Device type" profile, selectable in the Video Device Settings window in SecuritySpy. The correct one for your device is simply called "Axis device".

    Does this resolve the problem?

    I was using device type "Axis 200 Camera / Axis 240 server" switching to "Axis" worked Thanks
