Motion triggered by snow/fog

Hi

My outdoor cam is triggered by snow and/or heavy fog, is there any advise or settings to avoid this?? Last night I had 1 file of 8 hour constant recording of fog 😆

    Engaging the AI object detection should eliminate or at least significantly reduce false-positive detections. You can read more about this in the user manual at Settings > Cameras > Triggers. If this doesn't resolve the problem for you, please email us and include a debug file (SecuritySpy menu > Debug > Create Debug File On Desktop) and we will look into this further for you. Please also let us know the name(s) of the affected camera(s), and include images from these cameras (right-click on the live video > Save Image).

    I got "Human - Vehicle - Animal" checked, I have sensitivity set to 50%. Sorry, for some reason SS crash when I try to generate Debug file...I got the latest version 6.7

    Sorry about that - we'll need to fix that crashing bug first! Please locate the crash log:

    • Hold Option/Alt on the keyboard while clicking the Go menu in the Finder; select Library
    • Within that Library folder navigate into Logs and then DiagnosticReports
    • Email us and include a few of the most recent logs from this folder with "SecuritySpy" in the filename
