Reolink RLC-1212A

Hi,

Just wondering if anyone is using the Reolink RLC-1212A with Security Spy. I'm using Reolink's doorbell and it working fine, but Security Spy's camera compatibility list suggests that using Reolink cameras can be hit or miss.

    I’m also using the Reolink video doorbell and it’s been really good. How is the quality of the Reolink 1212a dome camera in comparison to say Hikvisions 8MP cameras?

    I cannot answer your question with 100% surety, @beegoi, but if it helps, I've the Reolink doorbell, two RLC-510WA cameras and an E1 Zoom. All work fine. It seems they pretty much all use the same firmware.

    Thanks @abid and @Robbie for your replies. I have purchased the 1212a yet, but based on your comments I will the next time that the camera is on sale.

    I purchased the Reolink 1212A and the E1 Pro during Amazon Prime days and will report back after the installation. 🤞

    Configuring the 1212A and E1 Pro to work with Security Spy was straight forward and so far both cameras are working well.

    Phew. That's brilliant to hear. I always get a bit anxious when "recommending" something online. lol

    As mentioned, I've four Reolink cameras and when my other four aging cameras visit silicon heaven, I will replace them as necessary with Reolink. 😀

    FWIW, I replaced my aging and still working DLink cameras. I wasn’t able to get the PT working with DLink, but the E1 Pro’s PT is working well. The image quality and evening/dusk performance are also much better. Another benefit is being able to use the Reolink app with Security Spy. I use the Reolink app for remote viewing.
