"One movie per day" option for motion-detection capture ?
I have just upgraded to Version 6 and in general, I am very happy with it, runs fine, much more stable than previous versions. However, the feature "One movie per day" for motion-detection capture seems to have fallen by the wayside, or have I missed it? I am currently running some 30 odd cameras recording business premises (lots of activities during the day, but almost none during the night). In them olden days I could just pull the file for that camera and that day and any incident that happened would be in that movie.
Now I'm seeing lots and lots of files like this:
Am I missing something or is this feature gone?

Great to hear the new version is working well for you.
We recommend against using this function because it makes it more difficult to search for specific events via the iOS app and web interface (this has been the case for a couple of years now, so it's not a new thing with version 6). However, it's still available if you want to use it - just hidden. You'll find it at Settings > Cameras > Setup > Advanced Options.

Interesting...
We have been using SS for so long that certain habits have developed. Never really changed the way we worked. I am now looking into the iOS and web interface for the first time, definitively way better.
Maybe we should change our approach. In the past, I would get a call "there was an incident on Tuesday in premises xyz", so I would pull the video from that day and pass it over to whoever requested it. Usually to the size of several Gigs. Now I need to know roughly the time of the incident, so I can gather videos around that time. But with the web interface those 'other' people can look for themselves and yes, the files are a lot smaller. I'm also trying to use h265 wherever possible to reduce the file size.
Thanks for keeping this marvel going (and improving it!) over the years, we really appreciate that. I had to revert to ZoneMinder on a different project with no Mac available. Horrible experience. No comparison.
