TP-Link cameras stopped working
Mac mini 2023; Apple M2; ProMacOS 13.3.1; Security Spy 5.5.8b3
I have a TP-Link C320WS and a C100. Both have been working fine and both suddenly stopped working today.
The SS log shows: 12/09/2019 21:15:13: Error communicating with the network device "TP-Camera". 5.0.1,70900,800 Failed to obtain video frame from network device. The operation timed out.
I can access both cameras from the TAPO app running on the Security Spy server (Apple Silicon). Security Spy sees both cameras as Auto-Discovered ONVIF cameras, and I have double checked the user-names and passwords.
I suspect a change by TP-Link, but cannot verify that.
Ideas?

It's difficult to tell the cause of this without more specific information about your system, but the fact that both stopped working at the same time points to a possible network issue. Try rebooting the cameras, the Mac, and the router. If that doesn't do it, please email us and include a debug file (SecuritySpy menu > Debug > Create Debug File On Desktop) and we will help you directly to resolve this issue.

After resettling absolutely everything, the problem cleared itself. What was odd is the two TP-Link cameras are on completely different LAN segments. I suspect somehow an arp ta ble somewhere became out of date. Thanks for the response.
