Missing option to export video

I wanted to export a selection from one of the videos from my camera. I have done this in the past with previous versions, but the option seems to be gone in 5.4.0. I open the Browser, select the camea and video. I then selected the timeframe in the timeline (which has been incredibly glitchy for many years now) and no longer see an option to export the video from that selection.

Frustratingly, the entire m4v file for the day fails to open in VLC or Quicktime, so I cannot even open the full file in one of those players.

Am I just missing the export option? I don't see it in any menu (nor the context menu of the selection).

Does anyone have any luck opening (and editing) these larger capture files outside of SecuritySpy?

    I can still open my movies with QuickTime Player - even a 8.86GB file from daily continuos recording.

    Nothing changed for me with version 5.4.0

    Hi @jeremyhu you will find the export options in the Browser menu at the top of the screen. This menu is available whenever the Browser is open and at the front.

    I'm surprised that you are saying the selection tool is glitchy - for us this works perfectly well, and no user has reported a problem with it. Can you please provide steps to reproduce any kind of glitchy behaviour? Thanks.
