How do I add a new camera with default address different than my network?

The procedure here is to temporarily change the IP address of your Mac to to an address on the 192.168.1 subnet (e.g. 192.168.1.109). Then you will be able to connect to the camera at its 192.168.1.108 address, and give it an address on your 10.x.x subnet (or set it to DHCP so that it obtains one automatically). Then change your Mac back to its previous settings. This is described in our installation manual under Connecting to a Camera Over Ethernet - scroll down to the section "Cameras with a fixed address by default".
