SunEyes SP-P1802SWPTZ
I just bought a SunEyes SP-P1802SWPTZ camera. I am able to get SecuritySpy to display the video stream from the camera using the ONVIF devices type. I have no luck with pan/tilt/zoom control within SecuritySpy. I have to use a web connection to the camera to use the PTZ. The camera has excellent temperature range, and a real optical zoom plus pan and tilt. I bought it directly from SunEyes for about $177. Hopefully SecuritySpy can add it to the supported camera list in the future.

Hi, we haven't come across this particular camera before, so I'm not immediately sure what could be going wrong with the PTZ. The first thing to check is that you've entered the camera's admin username/password into SecuritySpy, not just a "viewer" account that allows access to the video stream but nothing else.
If that doesn't fix it, the best way for us to debug this is if we can connect to your camera over the internet to run some tests, either using something like TeamViewer to control your SecuritySpy Mac, or a direct connection to the camera by forwarding the ONVIF and RTSP ports (usually 80 and 554) in your router. Is this possible? If so, please email us details (we can provide further information on how exactly to set this up if you need us to).
