Security Spy Helper
Greetings,
Most recently I've noticed in the Activity Monitor that "SecuritySpyHelper" is RED and says it's not responding.
Should I be concerned? Please advise.

Hi Juan, SecuritySpyHelper is a tiny app that runs silently in the background, monitoring SecuritySpy for any problems and will restart it in the unlikely event of a crash. So it's there to make everything more stable and reliable. If it's reported as not responding this may indicate a problem, so when this happens please can you select it in the Activity Monitor window, click the gear button at the top of the window and select "Sample Process" from the options. Then save the result and email it to us. This will reveal exactly what the app is doing and should allow us to debug this.
You can test if it is actually working by force-quitting SecuritySpy. If it automatically restarts then you know the helper app is doing its job. If it doesn't, then this indicates a problem.
