Hourly Motion Detection

I was wondering if it would be possible to create hourly motion detection files just like there is an hourly time laps file. This would make the files smaller then the whole day that it creates now. I know that I can set it to record every motion but sometimes it can create hundreds of files per hour. It would just be easer to watch an hours worth of motion in one file.

I did what you're looking for, but with a daily resolution instead of hourly. See the script I posted here:
