Hikvision mini bullet
I am having trouble setting up Hikvision DS-2CD2032-I in SS. It does work through the browser and I don't have Perian in my computer, which it is an issue that has been raised here before. I log in as an Admin and I did change the IP to 192.168.1.xx following manufacturer recommendations (I do see through the browser so IP is fine). I use the Hikvision Device Type on Video Setting Device. I have 11 cameras and I set them up just fine over the years. I don't know what the issue is with this one. Both the firmware and SS are up-to-date. Any ideas? Thanks

Hi ggilpu - I believe we are currently in touch about this via email and I am awaiting screenshots. It's difficult to diagnose with the limited information but the main thing is to check the settings in the Video Device Settings window in SecuritySpy: check the IP address and username/password is correct. Check that the SSL option is turned OFF. Check that the device type is set to Hikvision. Check that the Format setting is H.264 RTSP. I would also advise you to download and install the latest version of SecuritySpy - version 3.4.2 was released yesterday so you may not have tested it yet. I'll be able to advise further once I see the screenshots.

The issue has been solved by Ben. It was a silly mistake from my part entering the wrong IP address. Thanks Ben, great help!
