Web viewer freezes

I noticed that the web viewer seems to show only still images after about ten minutes. I have to hit reload to get it going again. Is there a solution to this? It can be hard to notice unless I notice the clocks are frozen.

    Hi terska - have you set a "Maximum video stream duration limit" for the web server account that you are using (see the web server settings section of the user manual for more information)? This will cut off the stream after a certain time limit.

    An alternative to using a web browser is to use another copy of SecuritySpy to view the live streaming video. SecuritySpy can be used free of charge for this purposes of live viewing only. This will be much more reliable than using a web browser to view the video, as SecuritySpy will automatically reconnect to the stream if it breaks for any reason. This is described in the user manual in the using SecuritySpy as a video server section.
