Bosch cameras
Hi,
I have 4 Bosch Flexidome's connected to a POE switch. I tested the connectivity with a online ip camera address finder. It found all 4 cameras. I get 2 different error codes after attempting to create a profile for each camera. One says "connectivity error & the other says "unrecognised request error" The only thing that shows in the SecuritySpy network search is my printer. I'm using both a MacPro 2,1 on 10.9.4 for testing & then a dedicated iMac 7,1. I just can't test on the iMac as SecuritySpy uses the webcam & I'm not going to buy a multi cam licence until I know my cameras work with the software.

Hi - please check and let me know the following:
- Can you connect to the cameras using a web browser by typing one of the camera's IP addresses into a web browser (Safari, Chrome etc.)? If not then you'll need to configure the cameras' IP address for your local network.
- In the Video Device Settings window in SecuritySpy, have you tried both the "Bosch" device type as well as the "ONVIF" device type? Please try both; if one doesn't work then hopefully the other will.
- If you are still having problems, please email us screenshots of a camera's IP settings pages as well as the Video Device Settings window showing how the camera is set up in SecuritySpy, and we'll investigate this further. To capture a screenshot, press command-shift-4 and select the area you want to capture. A file called "Screen shot" will appear on your desktop.
- With your email, please also send us the "Log" file that is located in the SecuritySpy folder within your Documents folder.
Thanks!
