Security Spy TL recording
Hi, i've noticed when I set SS to record a TL video for camera, in this case a Grandstream IP camera, i configure it to record 2 frames per second and replay at 30 fps. When I review the footage it appears to have recorded full frame rate, and using lots of space. Any idea what I'm doing wrong or is it a bug in 3.4?

Hi - if you have the "No recompression of video data" option enabled in the Video Device Settings window for your camera, and the camera is sending video data encoded with a temporally-compressed format (MPEG-4 or H.264), then SecuritySpy cannot change the frame rate of the stream.
So, you may want to set the camera itself to send video to SecuritySpy at 2fps, then it will be recorded at 2fps. Alternatively, you could use the JPEG stream from the camera (if this is available for your camera). Or, simply disable the "No recompression" option (however this would significantly increase SecuritySpy's CPU usage as then it would have to do its own video compression).
Hope this helps.
