OSX server... can SS server work with it?

I am going to hire a server expert to help me get it up and running, but I want to be sure SS will work as part of OSX server. It works standalone as is, but I want to have a dyndns address and put SS in a subdirectory of the server and be able to hit SS from the full path in the browser (and in Remote Patrol).

Thoughts?

    SecuritySpy does indeed work on the Server version of OS X.

    SecuritySpy has its own built-in web server that is separate from the Apache web server provided by OS X. SecuritySpy's server operates on a different port from the Apache server (typically 8000 and 80 respectively), enabling both services to run together on the same machine.

    A single Dynamic DNS (DDNS) address will identify your internet connection's public IP address, and hence with the correct port forwarding settings set up in your router it will give access to both Apache and SecuritySpy (for example, http://myname.viewcam.me/ to access Apache vs. http://myname.viewcam.me:8000/ to access SecuritySpy). You can set up a DDNS address very quickly and easily in SecuritySpy's Web Server Settings window.

    If you want to have SecuritySpy's web server as a subdirectory of a larger web site provided by Apache (as your question suggests), then this is possible by configuring Apache with a "RewriteEngine" that forwards requests to SecuritySpy, so that in effect Apache becomes a proxy to SecuritySpy's web server. However setting this up requires delving into Apache's configuration files, and such a setup wouldn't be of any benefit for most users.

    I am running SS on Mavericks server without problems. I have an account with No-IP that has been a perfect solution for my rental property. I have set port forwarding to the server ip using port 8000
