Audio feedback from iSight camera
The iSight camera in my iMac 2009 is on and directly feeding back/repeating to my speakers. I have never had this happen before I setup Security Spy with a couple of IP cameras. Wondering if there is some setting that I missed when I de-selected the iSight camera from the list of cameras being monitored.
Thanks.
Thanks.

Hi Fracisco, this must be because the microphone is quite close to the speakers. The solution is to turn down the computer's volume, or turn off audio preview in SecuritySpy (click the small speaker icon that you will see next to the camera in the Camera Status window to toggle audio preview on/off). After all, audio preview is only useful when the microphone/camera is situated some distance away from the computer anyway.

The strange thing is that the active, selected cameras are in a different room. It is only the computer's built in iSight camera that is doing this. I'll play with it more this evening. I did so many changes yesterday setting up the system, that a clean reboot may do me some good.
