Feature Request major revision: multiple zones

Hi Ben,

I’d Like to make a feature request for a major x.0 revision in the future. I know it’s probably major surgery but a HUGE upgrade would be to add multiple detection zones to cameras. The current implementation where for example I want to record all motion detected on a camera but only receive alerts for a specific area requires multiple “dummy” cameras to be set up and must be resource inefficient or at the very least less elegant than allowing one camera to have multiple detection areas set-up.

The current set up works fine but this would be a nice quality of life improvement to the software for a major release.

    Thanks for the suggestion, I agree that the increased flexibility this would offer would be very useful, avoiding the need for the inelegant workaround of adding the same camera twice.

    There's a limit to how much flexibility we can add to the current paradigm without a major overhaul of the software, but it should be possible to at least offer independent motion detection areas/parameters for recording vs. actions. I'll see what we can do in a future update.
