Amcrest Camera Issues

I am stumped! All my Amcrest cameras stopped working about a week or so ago. Then have been running flawlessly for years.

I can see all of them on the ONVIF device list, but if you click on the open in browser button, the cameras won't load. All other computers on the same network will connect to the cameras.

I have checked all firewall settings to no avail.

What else am I missing?

  • I completely deleted my network and started over. That finally fix it!

  • I'm glad you found a solution. The fact that the cameras wouldn't open in a web browser indicates that the address being used for them is incorrect. If this ever happens again, try a reboot of the Mac first - perhaps there was some stale address data in the ONVIF discovery records that SecuritySpy was using.
