Green Dots - new iOS release
Just noticed after the update, all my cameras have a Green Dot in the upper left corner. What does this represent, and is there a toggle to disable?

These are the new status indicators for all live feeds in the app. Previously, it was difficult to see whether the image was actually live if nothing was moving, and the broken camera indicators that did eventually appear were a bit ugly. So we have moved to a new system with status dots: grey means connecting, green means live, and red means disconnected.
There is no setting related to the display of these indicators at present; if we see enough customer demand, we may add a setting to hide the grey/green dots, so that only the red dots are shown to indicate failure.

I’ve noticed a minor issue in this and the previous version of the iOS app: muting and unmuting audio in both live recordings and recorded items requires pressing the audio button multiple times before the change takes effect.

Thanks for checking! I don’t think the tappable area is too small, the button is not difficult to hit. The issue is that it often requires several taps before the action actually takes effect, as if the button wasn’t responsive enough.

Thanks for the useful info. One more question: if you tap once and then wait, does it eventually respond? I'm trying to determine if the issue is the button itself, or a delay setting up the audio playback.

Thanks! Now I’ve realised that all of the buttons behave the same way. Not every time, but it does happen with each of them that there’s no reaction on the first tap. And when I tap once and then wait, nothing happens either — there’s no delayed response.

Have to admit not a fan of the green dots here either would be great if we can disable/enable the dots

@rapyt yes this would be helpful, please email this to us at support@bensoftware.com.

Ben,
That new build 1.8.6 (396), if you only have two cameras they show up very small. They used to be on top of each other, now they are side by side.
It's ok, I fixed it with the "preview size", small, medium, large.
Thanks james

@jamesconnolly - good to hear you found the relevant setting here. On iPhones, the default has changed to the small size, to fit more cameras on the screen.
