Upgrading from SS3 to SS6

How does this upgrade usually go? Will I be having to set things up again (video device, camera settings, alerts and masks, save destinations) or will it carry over my settings? Thanks.

  • You should not have to set up everything again: the new version should read all settings from the old one. If you have any issues with this, email us and we'll assist you.

  • Well, that didn't happen.... paid $212 and stuck on SS3. Radio silence from e-mail support.

  • I see that 3 out of 7 cameras failed to import. I apologise that this didn't go more smoothly.

    You emailed us on Thursday last week, and we replied twice that same day after our initial investigation. Your reply was on Friday, and it was then the weekend, so it's not fair to say you've had "radio silence" from support. I understand that this issue is frustrating and you are keen to get it fixed, so I've personally had a look at this today, and I have sent you a reply via our support system with what I believe is a solution. Please check the support ticket, I hope this fixes the problem for you!
