AI detection not applying motion mask

I have the setting turned on to "Apply the motion mask to AI detection and capture thumbnails" but I still get notifications of cars driving by on the street even though it is masked.
Any suggestions? I don't think this happened before, just seemed to start recently.

Looking at your settings, what you are describing certainly should not be happening. So that we can investigate further, could you post (or email to us) a screenshot of one or more of these notifications please?

Sorry for the delay, we are working on a revamp of various aspects of how the motion detection works, including the masking mechanism. I will have an update for you soon.

Hi @bstep we now have an update for you: please download and install the latest beta version of SecuritySpy (currently 6.10b5). It should now strictly respect the mask, so that any movement or object therein should be completely ignored. Please report back once you've had a chance to test.
If you are running on an Apple Silicon Mac, you should also notice that motion detection is generally now much more accurate in the beta.
