Uploads with S3 BlackBlaze Test Failing (Error 500)
I have 2 instances of SecuritySpy v6.8, one at my home, and one at my workshop. I have 2 buckets setup with BackBlaze. At my shop, i had no problems configuring SecuritySpy to use the workshop bucket, but at home, with the same access key, and just a different bucketname, the test fails with:
Error 500: The test upload failed. Installation failed for unknown reason
othing in the Error Log file.
Just to make sure it wasn't an MTU issue or something weird on my home network, I tried with ForkLift using the exact same configuration, and that worked no problem.
Has anyone has this issue? I've tried creating new keys, but again, that new key works on workshop instance, but not on my home. I've tried deleting and recreating the bucket, again doesn't work. I've also tried using the same bucket (that totally works at th workshop) on my home setup, and same issue. Tried restarting SecuritySpy also. What else can I do?

I had the same issue - probably due to issue with the AWS Command Line Interface (aws-cli).
Solved the issue for now by copying the "aws-cli" folder in Application Support from the old computer
Within "SecuritySpy" app choose menu "File" and "Open Folder" and "Application Support" on your computer where Amazon is working and copy the folder "aws-cli" to the same location of the computer that throws the error 500.
