Mid 2012 Macbook Pro

Testing SS on a mid 2012 Macbook Pro with 8 cameras, Live view lags and stutters then some objects take off like a rocket. This happens with only one camera also. I have tried reducing frame rates to 10 and it makes no difference. I should also say the cameras are Amcrest 5MP. Any ideas what else I could try?

I am looking at getting an M4 Mac Mini but am hesitant since I can't get it running smoothly on the MBP, the cameras run smooth as butter on a windows machine with BI.

    This is an old Mac, but it should still function reasonably well with a handful of cameras. The best way to debug this is to work with you directly by email rather than via this forum. Please email us and include a debug file (SecuritySpy menu > Debug > Create Debug File On Desktop) and we'll take it from there.
