Firstly,

What a fantastic upgrade v6 has been, the cross-platform Web UI has really enhanced the ability to use a Mac Mini headless. Running 18 cameras with a couple of panoramic (180 degree) cameras, 1 thing I miss from the client software is the ability to resize the layout grid. Having the ability to save custom layout grids in the Web UI would be a massive help and almost close the gap in feature parity with the desktop software. Just wondered if this is on the roadmap at all.

    Great to hear such positive feedback about the v6 upgrade!

    I agree that this would be a nice addition to the web view. However there is a different solution to this, which is to run another instance of SecuritySpy on the second Mac (it's free for this purpose - here are instructions). Then you have all the layout options on this second viewing Mac as you do on the main SecuritySpy server. Does this provide a good solution for you?

    Hi Ben,

    Yes, i'm running ViewCam on my MacBook for this purpose as a stopgap.

    I can say that works well - although the dynamic streaming in the v6 Web UI is an awesome resource saver, looking forward to new enhancements. Still amazes me that i can run 18 H265 streams at 15 FPS ( 3 x 4MP, 4 x 5MP, 5 x 6MP and 6 x 8MP) on a single M1 Mac Mini.
